Make a pot of periwinkle with Deaney 🌸
 
This template and piece were inspired by the celebration of Black/ African American History month.
 
According to this article, there is no official flower to symbolize this celebration, however, the periwinkle holds significance to the history. It was thought to be one of the most popular flowers brought to the graves of the enslaved. Periwinkle today signifies the endurance of the enslaved Americans and their legacy.
 
The pot of periwinkle you can make using this template is about 8 x 5 x 5 inches in size.
