Can you customize a flower wall to match my event colors?
Absolutely! We offer Semi-Custom and Fully Custom options.
Our Semi-Custom option starts with one of our signature collections and allows us to replace up to 50% of the flowers to better match your event's color palette and style.
If you're looking for something completely unique, our Fully Custom option allows us to design and handcraft a backdrop entirely from scratch.
Do we get to keep a custom flower wall?
Yes! All Fully Custom backdrops are designed exclusively for your event and become yours to keep after the celebration.
Our signature collections and semi-custom designs remain rentals and are picked up after your event.
Do you only serve weddings?
Not at all! Our floral backdrops are perfect for weddings, bridal showers, baby showers, birthdays, anniversaries, corporate events, grand openings, photo shoots, quinceañeras, and many other celebrations.
Do you travel outside Rochester, New York?
Yes! We love traveling for events and have even served weddings outside New York State.
Travel fees may apply depending on the location and may include mileage, lodging, and meals for events requiring overnight accommodations.

Does the flower wall need to be attached to a wall?
No. All of our flower walls are freestanding and professionally secured with weighted bases for stability.
How long does setup take?
Most 8' × 8' flower walls take approximately 1½ to 2 hours to install, depending on the design and venue access.
When do you arrive for setup?
We typically arrive at least 3–4 hours before your event begins to ensure everything is installed and photo-ready before guests arrive.
Can the flower wall be set up outdoors?
Outdoor setups are available weather permitting.
Rain, high winds, or other severe weather conditions can damage the handcrafted flowers and compromise guest safety. If outdoor conditions become unsuitable, the backdrop will be relocated indoors whenever possible.
Outdoor installations incur an additional setup fee.
Does your team stay during the event?
For most indoor events, our team completes the installation and returns at the agreed pickup time to dismantle the backdrop.
Outdoor events may require an attendant for the duration of the event, depending on weather conditions and the installation. Additional staffing fees may apply.
Can you add a sign to the flower wall?
Yes! We can install client-provided signs, including many neon and acrylic signs, provided they are approved in advance.
To ensure proper installation, signs should be delivered to Deaney Weaney Blooms at least one week before the event. Additional installation fees may apply.
Can I pick up and install the backdrop myself?
No. All of our rentals are professionally delivered, installed, and dismantled by the Deaney Weaney Blooms team to ensure safety and preserve the integrity of the handcrafted flowers.
Can the backdrop be moved during the event?
Once installed, our flower walls and backdrops should not be moved by anyone other than our team.
If you would like the backdrop relocated between your ceremony and reception, please contact us in advance for availability and an additional relocation fee.
Does Deaney Weaney Blooms carry business insurance?
Yes. Deaney Weaney Blooms is a registered business in Monroe County, New York and carries business liability insurance.
If your venue requires a Certificate of Insurance (COI), we're happy to provide one upon request.
Can I purchase one of your existing rental backdrops?
Occasionally! If we're retiring or redesigning a collection, select pieces may become available for purchase. Contact us to learn about current availability.
